Just got home from Nationals... Thanks for your kind words Sara. Had a blast showing Desert Storm at the Show......    Just wanted to say to welsh breeders out there.... I first saw Desert as 4 yr old at the Royal Winter Fair. Peter Jones ( Menai), Milton Jones ( Minyfordd), myself and several other people from across the pond were more than surprised to see a stallion of this quality already here.. born and bred in the USA.  I would urge Cob breeders to use Desert before he gets much older. He is probably the most typey cob stallion here in the US. ( Yea I'll stick my neck out !!!)  At the age of 18 he put on a great show at the Nationals. Congratulations to Sara..... Thanks for letting me show the old boy, he was a HOOT !!    Cheers, Paul (Maye)

Good morning Sara,
I can't tell you how happy I was to see you and your beautiful boy this weekend! I truly wish Mrs. Ingersoll and Dr. June could have seen the fruits of their thoughts on the production of quality cobs in America! As Stud Manager at Grazing Fields I remember the day Carlene Sharples arrived at Grazing Fields to see our Cobs and first put her eyes on Druid (Dafydd y Brenin Cymraeg). It was love at first sight and he was hers. His move to New Jersey to the Windcrest Stud gave this Parc Dafydd son a much larger base of quality mares, and with careful selection, a filly from Dr. June Alexander's Okeden Stud, Okeden Honeysuckle arrived at Carlenes.
From my point of view and my time at the Penrhyn Stud, I stood Saturday in Syracuse, New York, watching ring side with tears rolling down my face and a huge smile. There he is, the "where" we have been trying to go. Fortunately for me Druid was bred to Nebo Fair Lady for the last time just before he left New England, to produce the lovely mare Fair Tegolin of Penrhyn, the dam of my young stallion Quillane Apollo. My hope is that with maturity he will grow into the same sort of Cob as his Uncle Desert Storm. Thank you Sara for bringing him out! Sincerely, Beth (Francis).

Desert is one of the typiest Section D Cob Stallions in the USA today. He looks like an original  Section A Pony blown up.
Desert produces beautiful youngstock.....
his fillies are feminine and colts  are masculinek, have his bone and typiness, the most tractable dispositions, and are outstanding movers.
Desert himself is a US Supreme and Canadian Champion.

We are not a "pony mill". We produce quality youngstock occasionally.
Desert's son Contraband is in North Carolina and is a champion in hand, and is started in dressage and driving.
